Peek-a-boo Birthday Card!

Welcome Stampin' Friends!
An interactive card for ya today. Again I'm using the Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper and the Balloon Bash stamp set. Remembering this peek-a-boo technique from years ago and thought we'd make one at April's stamp club. (REMINDER BELOW - APRIL'S HOSTESS CODE!)
So cute and fun to play with! Just a bit tricky to make sure everything in the center lines up.

Start with a 7 1/2" x 3" piece of Designer Series Paper. Fold in half. Score both ends at 3/8”. At half fold, center the 4th (from the center) square from our Big Shot Framelits Square Collection by turning it on an angle to look like a diamond shape, and run through the Big Shot. Now you have two pieces.
Card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and
scored at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8".
Overlap the DSP as shown to just cover the diamond shape in the center. Put adhesive on the 3/8"scored ends, carefully, as not to get any outside the scored lines.
Making sure the DSP pieces don't move,
slowly close card, one side at a time.

Stamp sentiment in center.
Using a scrap piece of card stock, punch a 2 1/2" circle to use as a template. Center template on a 5 1/2" x 3" piece of whisper white card stock, and punch out circle.
Adhere, making sure to keep center.
 Embellish as you like.
Try it and "wow" both the kids and adults! Enjoy!
