Use Up All Your Retired DSP Scraps

A fun, relaxing and therapeutic technique, especially when making them with friends. No thinking involved. Enjoy each other’s company, just sit, chat, relax, and create. Cut your Designer Series Paper scraps into even smaller scraps. Using sticky or sticker paper and leaving space between each piece you add, place the scraps haphazardly in any direction or pattern you like on the sticky paper. I use a tweezers because it is easier to handle the itty bitty pieces. Use any size sticky paper because when done, it can be cut in half or to size, and you have finished pieces for more than one card.
Photo: and card #3. These are all easy cards to make and by using different Designer Series Paper scraps, you can change color scheme for gender specific. For info on my blog tomorrow.Once all the scraps on where you want them, turn finished piece over and trim the ends that hang over. For the card with butterfly, we sprinkled gold embossing powder all over and heat embossed. For the masculine cards, ink up entire finished piece with Versamark ink and sprinkle with clear embossing powder, then heat emboss. Add mosaic tile piece to card and embellish to your heart’s content!

Photo: Sorry for the glare, but you ca see the embossing on the "tile".

Sorry for the glare, but I wanted to show how the Versamark one shows off the embossed tile look. Just by changing the DSP, you get a different color scheme for gender specific or any occasion. Kind of mindless-fill up a few sheets of sticky or sticker paper while watching your favorite show or movie! Try it! Let me know how it worked for you or if you have any questions! Enjoy!
