Easy Flower Patch Line-up Tip!

Welcome Stampin' Friends!

Here's an easy peasy tip for ya! Stop spending valuable crafting time trying to line up your framelits to your stamped images!
The trick:

Lay a framelit right on top of the coordinating stamp, being careful and taking your time to line up as exact as possible to the stamp.

Using a Sharpie, mark the framelit and then the exact same spot on the stamp!
Do the same for every stamp in the set! Initially yes, this will take some time, but never again! Anytime you use the Flower Patch set, or any other set with coordinating framelits for that matter, they are already marked for easy die cutting! Cool uh!

Latch Card Fun!

Welcome Stampin' Friends!
So simple and fun! I just had to re-visit this technique. The "latch" embellishment actually holds the card closed, until you open it. We created this one at Lea's workshop and in a class with friends.
Possibilities are endless with the latch card! Changing up the colors, stamps, latch embellishment, direction of the card itself...tons of creativity!

Latch Card Recipe:
*Base is 5 ½” x 7 ½”
*Need 2 pieces of cardstock 3 x 5 ¼” (one for front stamping and one for inside message).
*1 piece of DSP measuring 1” x 5 ½” and
*1 piece of cardstock measuring 1 ¼” x 5 ½” to make the banner.

Create a latch embellishment any way you’d like. I used circle dies and Watercolor Wings to create the one on this card.

*Score at 3 1/4” and fold.
*With fold on left of Simply Scored tool, score at
3 3/8”, 3 ½” and 3 5/8”. These lines give the card flexibility to “move”.
*Stamp and attach the front and inside pieces
*Punch ends of the DSP and cardstock pieces for the banner. Adhere pieces to each other layering to give a border around DSP. Attach to card any length you prefer. Turn card over and cut off any of the banner hanging over card.
*Stamp and die cut butterfly to your liking. Attach circles to each other and then butterfly using dimensionals.
*When attaching your latch, be sure to line up to top and right side of card using dimensionals making sure not to go beyond the three score lines.

Don't forget, only 2 days left to pick a Hostess!

July Stamp Club Tunnel Card

Welcome Stampin' Friends!
Today I'm sharing the Tunnel card we made at Club this month. Pinterest has many versions and plenty of ideas to spark our creativity, and this is my version.

“Tunnel” Card Fun Fold Recipe

* 2 pieces of 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock. One for the base and one for the inside “tunnel”.

* Inside piece is scored at 2-1/8”, 4-1/4" and 6-3/8" which will create an accordion fold. Die cut a “window” on the center score line. (I used Oval Collection Framelits)
* The "base" piece is stamped inside before scored and folded in half.
* Adhere the left panel of tunnel piece to the inside left side of the stamped base piece, then the right. Be sure not to let adhesive get on the tunnel window part or the card will not open properly.
*Decorate the front and the inside of the card anyway you’d like!
Have fun with it! Try different sizes, and explore your creativity.
