Flower Patch-Live and Paper!

Welcome Stampin' Friends!
Funny how watering the plants and weeding creates inspiration!

The other day, another Stampin' Up! order was delivered by that big brown truck guy (love when that happens) but been too busy to even open it (hate when that happens!), but just knowing it's in my stampin room calms my nerves. While I was finishing up some outside chores and tending to some flowers, it hits me! In that huge box is the Flower Patch stamp set and framelits bundle! I had to go play with my new toys!
FLOWER PATCH LIVE...
Using the Tunnel Fun Fold template here's what I came up with! This card is on it's way to a dear friend and Create Happy Crew member for her Birthday!
AND IN PAPER!
Now I'm hooked on both this bundle and the Tunnel Fun Fold card style! I guess my Stamp Club members know what they'll be creating next month!

I always make a template from copy paper to keep on hand with measurements, etc. I'll post more samples and details on the fun fold as soon as I can get back to the computer. If you are a visual person, there are great videos online to search and watch. Oh, the possibilities! Enjoy!

More Sprinkles Samples!

Welcome Stampin' Friends!
I've been playing with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set again! These cards were from a workshop last Saturday. One of my favorite things! Workshops aka: "Playdates", are a great way to get the word out about Stampin' Up! and my passion for stampin!
           Birthday card for her...
and for him!
The New Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is one of my favorites! To get the shaded brick look, ink up "indented" side of the folder, lay the card stock on the non inked up side, close the folder and run through the Big Shot!

Sprinkles of Life Center Step Card

Welcome Stampin' Friends!
Playing with some new catalog goodies, we made this center step card at Stamp Club last week. The "Sprinkles of Life" stamp set has so many possibilities! The New 2015-2017 In Colors make a delicious looking ice cream cone!
Special Note: Sprinkles of Life stamp set (inside of the back page in the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalog, is our NEW Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set (RMHC)! As Stampin' Up! supports RMHC, they donate $3 for every stamp set purchased, to help keep families together and surrounded by love when children are receiving medical treatment far from their homes.
Changing up the color combo (Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, and Delightful Dijon) that coordinate with the new Bohemian Designer Series Paper, make this a vibrate and great masculine card.
The step card technique has been around a long time and you can find the tutorials or videos all over the internet. I'm certainly not trying to re-invent the wheel, this is my version...in pictures.

Center Step Card
Just a note, I always use a piece of copy paper first as a test run and keep it as my template for future reference.

Piece of cardstock measuring 5 ½” x 11"
Using the Paper Trimmer
•Line up cardstock in paper trimmer, with the short side at top and the long edge side measuring at the
4 ½” mark on left and 1" mark past the cutting blade on right.
•Position the cutting blade at 1" and cut from 1" down to 6 ½”.
•Flip card over and do the same on the other side.
 Using the Simply Scored Tool:
•Place cardstock in scoring tool with long side at top and cut lines to the left. Score from top edge to cut line at 1", 2” and 6 ½”. Score in between cut lines at 5 ½”.
•Flip cardstock over, then again score from top edge to cut line at 1", 2” and 6 ½”.
•Fold on score lines and reinforce with bone folder. Mountain folds on first, third and center score lines. Valley fold on second score line.
Using a piece of card stock measuring 4 ¼” x 11”
will make the the center section a little thinner, but the instructions are basically the same...
Using the Paper Trimmer:
•Lineup cardstock in paper trimmer, with the short side at top and the long edge side measuring at the
3 ¼” mark on left and 1" mark past the cutting blade on right.
•Position the cutting blade at 1" and cut from 1" down to 6 ½”
•Flip card over and do the same on the other side.
Using the Simply Scored Tool:
All the score lines are the same as above!
Base is done! Both sizes fit nicely in Stampin’ Up!'s
 5 ¾” x 4 3/8” Medium Envelopes!

Have fun stamping, embossing, embellishing, and creating your own Center Step Card!
